FISHER COMMITS TO PRINCETON |
|
  Upper
Arlington High School Head Football Coach Mike Golden
announces that Grayson Fisher has verbally committed
to play football for Coach Bob Surace at Princeton University,
class of 2012.
Fisher
is a 6’4” 231 lb. Defensive End who received
multiple Division 1 FCS offers and ultimately elected
to play in the Ivy League, choosing Princeton over Cornell
and Dartmouth.
Fisher
is being recruited as a pass rushing defensive end and
is undecided regarding what he will major in at Princeton.

MEMORY OF ANDY WILTBERGER |
|
  On
October 17, the UA football family lost one of
its own. Andy Wiltberger played for the
Golden Bears, graduating in 1983. He was a lifelong
supporter of Golden Bear football and was a coach
for the
UA Youth Football League for the past decade.
Many of the players on the field tonight were
coached by him. As a memorial to Andy, the UA
youth football league is raising money to place
a bench and plant a tree in his honor at Northam
Park.

| FRANK
EPITROPOULOS COMMITS TO OHIO STATE |

Arlington High School Head Football Coach Mike
Golden announces that WR Frank Epitropoulos
has verbally committed to play football for Coach
Jim Fickell and The Ohio State University, class
of 2012.
The
6-foot-3, 195-pound junior had more than a dozen
BCS offers and chose the Buckeyes over Stanford,
Tennessee and Big Ten rivals Wisconsin and Michigan
State.
Epitropoulos
is being recruited as a wide receiver and will
also help with the punting game. Frank is planningto
study pre-med with aspirations of being a physician.

HENRY COMMITS TO THE UNIVERSITY OF TOLEDO |
  Upper
Arlington High School Head Football Coach Mike Golden
announces that OL James Henry has verbally committed
to play for Coach Tim Bechman and the University of Toledo
Rockets, class of 2012.
Henry is a 6'7" 265-pound rising senior. He is the
second Golden Bear to make a Division I committment for
2012, joining Frank Epitropoulos (Ohio State).
