The
1st Golden Bear Alumni Cheerleading Reunion was
held on Friday, September 30th, 2011. Approximately
50 former UAHS cheerleaders participated. An hour long
cheer practice was held for the alumni at the high school
prior to the football game against Hilliard Darby.
CHRISTINE
HAYES:Coach, Varsity Cheerleaders - 24th
year
Christine
has been coaching Upper Arlington High School
cheerleaders since 1986.
She
is a graduate of Westerville North High School
and Miami University and has a Master's Degree
from The Ohio State University. She teaches
AP American Studies and AP European History
at UAHS.
BETH
ROBERTSON: Coach, JV Football Cheerleaders
- 3rd year
Beth
is a Dublin Scioto High School and Bowling Green
State University Graduate where she cheered
at both schools.
She
is also a graduate from Capital University Law
School Paralegal Program and is currently employed
at Tyack, Blackmore & Liston Co., L.P.A.
Her husband also coaches at UAHS in the Baseball
Program. This is her fourth year at Upper Arlington,
and her third year in football..
ALI
GROSS: Coach, Freshman Football Cheerleaders
- 2nd year
Ali
is a graduate of Southview High School in Sylvania,
Ohio and is now in her senior year studying
Economics at Ohio State University.
Ali
is a current member of the OSU All Girl Cheerleading
Team. This is her second year coaching for UA.
